22 Student Homes
Higrade Developments were brought in to save a failing renovation project back in 2021. The project scope was to renovate 22 purpose built student homes, starting in September 2021 and completing by July 2022.
It was crucial to the client that the work was completed to a high standard within a tight time-frame to ensure that the properties were ready to rent to students for the upcoming academic year. This meant that the work had to be completed at a rate of 1 home per 2-3 weeks.
We made sure that our project management team kept the works running to schedule and we were able to fast-track the renovations while maintaining excellent standards.
Quick & Efficient
This project is now coming to a completion! It has been a 9 month project that has seen Higrade work with our client to refurbish 20x 7-bedroom purpose-built student houses, under a contractual value of £750,000.
The works included were as follows:
Strip out of all existing furniture and bathrooms
Alterations to walls and opening up of rooms to provide new room access
New stud partitions to create en-suites to 5 rooms in the properties
A new shared bathroom for 2 of the rooms with no en-suites
A new washer dryer room situated near the kitchens
