Welfare & Canteen Facility

The scope of our project with John Sutch Cranes was to decommission a run-down welfare and canteen facilities and design and build a replacement facility through renovating an old, disused warehouse.

It was important that this project ran to time to minimise disruption to the site and allow the facility to be up an running for the staff.

Repurposing the building and renovating it to a high standard was an excellent use of the space and existing structures. The decommissioning was carefully planned to ensure the safety of everyone working at such a busy place and all of  our schedules were worked out in collaboration with the client. The space then gave us a blank slate to work with and the new welfare and canteen space was built to our design specifications.

This project included the design and build of a new structure inside an old disused warehouse, to house the installation of a new canteen and welfare facility. The works included a refurbishment of wc areas, new fitted kitchen, new entrance from south side of building, new heating and electrics and finally new drying station.

Our project was completed with a very happy client which is always our aim.

Well-prepared & Professional

The project completed on time and in budget and our client fed back:

“Higrade were brilliant. Our yard is a busy site full of operational machinery and so having non-JS trades working on site was a great concern. However, Dean and the team were conscientious, well-prepared and professional. They delivered a fantastic space for our lads and we would highly recommend using their services. Thanks guys.” – John S (John Sutch Cranes)
